About

This is a program made to make discord.py bot development easy. If you are a beginner in discord.py development or you are a developer and you want to speed your development process, then this tool is for your! Well it might sound very simple to you, but actually this program will help you in saving a lot of time that is consumed in preparing the bot's base code so that you can start working on other features. Read the full repo to know how this tool works!!

Usage

Before you start using this tool, you will need to make an application on Discord Developer Portal. Create a bot in that application, grab the token and the name of the bot.

  • Now you can start working with the tool

You have to run the file using python astro_cord.py for Windows or python3 astro_cord.py in linux.
The program will ask you for the name of the bot. Then add a valid prefix for the commands of your bot Later enter the correct token of the bot which you can get from the developer portal In the end, you will be asked if you want a sample embed snippet in your code or not. You can reply with y/n If you get a success message, then that means your bot code has been generated. The file will be stored in the same location where the program is stored. The name of the file will be by your bot's name.

Compatibility

The program has been made compatible with both Windows and Linux OS.
